Did you know that September 22 is Hobbit Day? It’s the birthday of Bilbo and Frodo Baggins! We are celebrating with our third annual Hobbit Day 5K & 10K – Journey to Middle Earth!
September is also Leukemia and Lymphoma Awareness Month, so we will be donating at least 15% of every registration to Be The Match, “for the thousands of people diagnosed every year with life-threatening blood cancers like leukemia and lymphoma, a cure exists. Over the past 25 years Be The Match ® , operated by the National Marrow Donor Program ® (NMDP), has managed the largest and most diverse marrow registry in the world. We work every day to save lives through transplant.”
