Complete race anytime between September 22 and December 21, 2021.   Sunrise to Sunset 1M 5K 10K 13.1 26.2.  At least 20% from every registration to Sunshine Kids, an amazing organization that adds quality of life to children with cancer by providing them with exciting, positive group activities, so they may once again do what kids are meant to do . . . have fun and celebrate life!

*This is a beautifully designed medal and measures  a bit larger than our other medals.  It's 4 inches and the sun slides side to side from sunrise to sunset! You will also get a bib with your medal. 

We are really excited to introduce our Sunrise to Sunset Running and Walking Challenge.  We do a lot of stuff centered around the moon and with this race we are excited to focus on the SUN! The world is full of beautiful sunrises and sunsets!  We invite you to complete your race during the sunrise, or during the sunset! Or do it twice and complete it once in the morning and once in the evening and then log your best time!  This race will begin on September 22, 2021, which is the September Equinox.  The September equinox, also called southward equinox, is the moment in time (not a day-long event) when the Sun stands directly above the equator while crossing from the north to the south. For the Northern Hemisphere (where nearly 90% of the world's population live) it is the autumn equinox (fall equinox) as it is the moment when summer ends and autumn (fall) begins, while for the Southern Hemisphere it is the vernal equinox (spring equinox), the moment when winter ends and spring begins. Up until the September equinox the Sun rises and sets more to the north of the equator, and afterwards it rises and sets more to the south. You can complete your race anytime between September 22 and December 21, 2021 (which is the December Equinox).

What: This is a 1 Mile, 5K, 10K, 13.1, 26.2  virtual run (or walk) to celebrate all of the amazing sunrises and sunsets out there!  You choose which distance you want to complete.

When: Complete your race anytime between September 22 and December 21, 2021!

*Medals and bibs start shipping out at the end of August. After that they will ship out within 2 to 5 days of signing up.

Where:  You choose the course and you time yourself (you’ll report your finishing time to us).

Why:  Because this is our way of celebrating the SUN!
