The summer Olympics may be cancelled, but our Race for the Rings race will still go on! Summer Olympics are coming back in July and August! The games are from July 24 through August 9th in Tokyo, Japan. We are celebrating the games with a Race for the Rings 1M 5K 10K 13.1 26.2. Let’s run, and walk, in honor of the amazing athletes all over the world that will be competing!
We will be donating at least 15% of every registration to Special Olympics, an incredible organization who’s mission is to “provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community.”
- Race for the Rings races can be completed anytime in July or August 2020!
- 1 mile, 5k, 10k, 13.1, and 26.2 virtual races are available — you choose which distance you want to complete
- Great for all ages
- We’ll be donating a percentage of registration fees to Special Olympics
- After completing your race, you’ll receive a summer games Race for the Rings medal.
- Registration Fee: $22 (includes a medal, bib, and shipping)
- Medals and bibs will begin shipping out mid-June 2020
- Race for the Rings race gear is available here for a limited time only
