Happy Hug Day 1M 5K 10K 13.1 26.2 Race Description

National Hug Day is January 21st, and along with lots of hugs, we’re celebrating with our third annual Happy Hug Day virtual race. This virtual running event has many races to choose from including 1 mile, 5k, 10k, 13.1, and 26.2 distances! Register today!

  • Happy Hug Day virtual races can be completed anytime in January or February 2021!
  • Invite your friends and family for some fun competition
  • A portion of every registration will be donated to HUGS Foundation, Inc,
  • Comes with a ‘Happy Hug Day’ cactus medal

A single hug can turn a bad day into a good one. Why not celebrate the glory of hugs with this fun and unique virtual race? This virtual running event can be completed at any time of the month of January, from anywhere. You choose the course and time yourself, reporting your finishing time online! This makes running fun and unique, plus it helps a good cause. A portion of every registration fee (20%) is donated to the HUGS (Help Us Give Smiles) Foundation, Inc, which works to deliver free medical care to children and adolescents challenged by microtia, cleft lip, cleft palate and other facial deformities.

  • Registration Fee: $25 (includes a medal, bib, and shipping)
  • Race packages will start shipping out December 15. If you sign up after that they will ship out within 2 to 5 days of signing up

Wish we could have run traditionally, as I’m new to running. I love the cause for this race, there isn’t a better day than one which allows for a hug!! Thanks for putting it on!
