Grateful for Nurses 1Mile 5K 10K 13.1 26.2 Race Description
Did you know that National Nurses Week begins each year on May 6th and ends on May 12th, Florence Nightingale’s birthday?!?! We are celebrating all nurses everywhere with our seventh annual Grateful for Nurses 1M 5K 10K 13.1 26.2 and participants will get a Grateful for Nurses medal and bib!
Plus, at least 15% of every registration to Project Hope, an amazing organization that delivers essential medicines and supplies, volunteers (including nurses) and medical training to prevent disease, promote wellness, respond to disaster and save lives around the globe.
These medals are GARAGE MADE – that’s right, they were made right here in our very garage! We’ve been adding some locally made medals, and these ones are made of acrylic that looks like glass and turned out awesome! This medal is 3.25 inches and comes with a Virtual Race Events bib where you can write in your race, distance and time.
What: This is a 1M, 5K, 10K, 13.1, 26.2 virtual run (or walk) to celebrate NURSES! You choose which distance you want to complete!
When: Complete your race any time in May 2023.

*Medals and bibs will ship out within 2 to 5 days of signing up.
Where: You choose the course and you time yourself (you’ll report your finishing time to us).
Why: Because this is our way of celebrating all of the amazing nurses out there!
Cost: The price is $16 and that includes your medal, bib and donation to charity. 15% of every entry will be donated to Project Hope. *We are in no way affiliated with this charity, we like to choose a different charity for each of our races and are happy to raise funds for them.

Grateful for Nurses 5k Fun
This was our first virtual race, which as nurses ourselves we were very motivated to complete. The race was a lot of fun and a great excuse to enjoy a beautiful summer day. Virtual run events makes running races easy and fun; looking forward to a lot more summer races.
