National Avocado Day 1M 5K 10K 13.1 26.2

July 31st is National Avocado Day!  We LOVE avocados….in salad, guacamole, on tacos, on toast, on sandwiches and so many other things. We are excited to celebrate this special day with our first Nation Avocado Day 1 Mile, 5K, 10K, 13.1, 26.2 – It’s Avo-Cardio time! National Avocado Day was founded by Model Meals, a meal delivery service based in California. They chose the 31st of July to be National Avocado Day as it is the peak season for avocado in California.

July is also Juvenile Arthritis Awareness Month and we will  be donating at least 20% of every registration to The Arthritis National Research Foundation, which funds arthritis research to find a cure for arthritis, and this includes trying to find a cure for the hundreds of thousands of children suffering each year with this debilitating disease.

What: This is a virtual run (or walk) 1 Mile, 5K, 10K, 13.1, 26.2 to celebrate National Avocado Day! You decide which distance you will complete!

When: Complete your race any time in 2021!

*Medals and bibs will start shipping out June 15th. After that they will ship within 2 to 5 days of signing up.

Where: You choose the course and you time yourself (you’ll report your finishing time to us).

Why: Because this is our way of celebrating AVOCADOS and to help raise funds for an amazing organization: The Arthritis National Research Foundation
