Virtual running? This is my first, honestly I run faster with others as the momentum of all the fellow runners fuels my pace but I am thankful for the opportunity each day to run and now I have another awesome medal for the rack!

I needed some motivation to go outside and run. This 5k came at a perfect time and I can earn vitality points which motivated me immediately. I love running so this was an easy decision for me.
Great event on a beautiful Saturday morning!
Pushed myself to get this done. Great racr
Great to be able to log a race for the program
Great way to get out and stay in shape with a little friendly competition
Great! I like how you can pick when you want to do it and in this time of the pandemic, I felt safe!
I liked doing this race because I was able to do it on my own terms and at a time that worked best for me. I would absolutely do this again.
Given the circumstances of COVID-19, I decided to register for this race to motivate myself, even if I'd only be running alone on my usual course. Obviously most of the time people prefer to have an in-person race, but I liked that doing this race virtually allowed me to compare my time/age against others nation-wide. Overall, I'd do it again. Thanks!
Good motivator for my wife and I. Actually inspired us doing some other virtual races not associated with JHV
Good idea to go virtual! Gave me something to get up and train for this summer, thank you JH!
Fun reason to continue training during the summer!
I went with my sister in law.... we did over 4 miles in 56 minutes.... very fun.
This was an amazing race and a great way for John Hancock to help keep us healthy!!
It was so nice to have a goal to push towards. We had signed up for a race at the early in the year but, sadly, it was cancelled due to COVID. So we really wanted something to push towards. This was great motivation. We had fun and the medal a nice treat. Now... what’s next?
I loved this. Thought that it was a great idea especially given all of the COVID-19 going around. If it's offered again, I'd certainly participate!
I feel so good doing this cause I don’t do any kind of exercise. it was a motivation for me.
First time for everything. What a great way to spend the day. I started indoors but finished the race outside in the beautiful Colorado sun.
The registration process was easy, the fee was inexpensive, and the medal looks nice. I really enjoyed this virtual run!
Loved this opportunity! Wish I had more than 7 days to complete it, because sometimes life happens.
This was my first 5k ever! I am a walker. I want to be "healthy on the inside". 4 years ago, I could not walk up a hill. Now, after one-step-at-a-time, I casually climb that hill like it is nothing,
I absolutely enjoyed running this race as I could do this on my own time. I would definitely do this again!
Great race
I was able to use my son as my rabbit, and he helped me run a fairly quick 5k. He's incredibly motivating!
Did not do myself any favors on the course, but it was stull in good fun. I ran one of my regular routes and enjoyed my time. It was fun to keep my run streak going while having motivation to push the pace a bit.
Was fun to be a part of the greater good!
After submitting my results and receiving confirm and place for my gender and age group, I continue to get emails requesting for my race results. No vitality points awarded and messages sent through the app go unanswered. I enjoyed the course and exercise but disappointed to spend so much time chasing down my credit. Will not do again.
Wouldn’t have done it otherwise.
Should provide a longer window to run race as the 8 days fell within a heatwave.
It’s not the same as an in person race, but I was still able to watch my pace, and felt accomplished in completing it within my goal time. The route is the same as my practice route, which is nice - however, it makes me wish didn’t live in a place with rolling hills. :-)
I have run 7.18 miles on 08/07/20 in Campion Trail Park in Irving, TX. Completed the run 1:19:43 @11'06'' pace. It is an amazing run done morning started around 7:42am and finished at 9:04am
I like that this 5K challenged me to do a 5k when I thought I couldn’t anymore! I did it!
