Did you know that June 4, 2022 is National Trails Day? Here at Virtual Run Events we love hiking and trail running and are so excited to celebrate this day! We encourage you, if you can, to do a trail run (or hike) for this event. We are hosting our first Happy Trails 1M 5K 10K 13.1, 26.2, 50K, 50 Miles and when you participate you will get this beautiful medal made of WOOD!
Plus, at least 15% of each registration will be donated to The National Park Foundation. Their over 400 national parks preserve 85 million acres of the world's most treasured landscapes, ecosystems, and historical sites. Our donation will help the National Park Foundation protect these treasured landscapes for generations to come.
- Races can be completed anytime in 2022!
- 1 mile, 5k, 10k, 13.1, 26.2, 50K and 50 Miles virtual races are available — you choose which distance you want to complete
- Great for all ages
- A percentage of race registration fees will be donated to The National Park Foundation
- You’ll receive a medal upon completion of your event!
- Official Happy Trails gear is available here for a limited time only
- Registration Fee: $18 (includes a medal, bib, and donation to charity)
- Medals and bibs will begin shipping out mid-May 2022

Gut Out
I'm working my way back in shape at this time. I usually run my 5ks under 40 mins :( Glad I got it done. such a beautiful morning on the Boundary Waters Trails for 3.1!
