Geek Day 5K Race Description
Geek Pride Day is celebrated each year on May 25! The date was chosen because its the date that the movie Star Wars was released. Let’s face it, we all are geeks in our own way and we all have things that we “GEEK OUT” on. Perhaps you geek out on reading or science or solving mathematical equations, or you geek out on trying new recipes, learning different cultures or learning survival skills. One thing is for sure, there are millions of us out there that GEEK OUT on running, jogging and/or walking. So it’s time to GET YOUR GEEK ON and celebrate Geek Day by completing a virtual 5K and we’ll send you an awesome GEEK DAY MEDAL! (medals are 3.5 inches).
