Forest Firefighter Day 1M 5K 10K 13.1 26.2 Race Description
There have been so many wildfires lately and the damage done is heartbreaking. With the recent Colorado wildfires we've seen hundreds of homes lost and thousands of lives affected. Through all of this we are grateful for the men and women that bravely get out there and fight these fires for us. It's a dangerous job and we admire their hard work and dedication. Firefighter Appreciation Day is coming up on May 4th and we are using this day to honor all Forest Firefighters with a Forest Firefighters Appreciation Day 1M 5K 10K 13.1 26.2. Thank you all of the firefighters out there!
Plus, at least 15% of every registration to the Wildland Firefighter Foundation, an amazing organization who's main focus is to help families of firefighters killed in the line of duty and to assist injured firefighters and their families. We honor and acknowledge past, present, and future members of the wildland firefighting community, and partner with private and interagency organizations to bring recognition to wildland firefighters.

What: This is a 1M, 5K, 10K, 13.1, 26.2 virtual run (or walk) to celebrate Forest Firefighters! You choose which distance you want to complete!
When: Complete your race any time in 2022!
*Medals and bibs will start shipping out March 15th! After that they will ship out within 2 to 5 days of signing up.
Where: You choose the course and you time yourself (you’ll report your finishing time to us).
Why: Because this is our way of celebrating all of the brave firefighters out there!
Cost: The price is $18 and that includes your medal, bib and at least 15% of every entry will be donated to Wildland Firefighter Foundation. *We are in no way affiliated with this charity, we like to choose a different charity for each of our races and are happy to raise funds for them.
