Join us for our seventh annual Father’s Day 1M 5K 10K 13.1 26.2 virtual race! Father’s Day is June 21,2020! It’s time to celebrate your father the HERO! Our medal has a beautiful quote from Bindi Irwin, the daughter of  the late Steve Irwin, the Crocodile Hunter.  The quote says, “Dad is and always will be my living, and breathing superhero.”  Its a beautiful tribute to an amazing man that so many people around the world loved.  Sign up for one medal and run in honor of your dad, or purchase an extra medal and give it to your dad for Father’s Day!

 

We will also be donating at least 15% of each registration to Team Hoyt, which works to build the individual character, confidence and self-esteem of America’s disabled and physically challenged young people through inclusion in all facets of daily life. In the spring of 1977, Rick Hoyt told his father, Dick Hoyt, that he wanted to participate in a 5-mile benefit run for a lacrosse player who had been paralyzed in an accident. Far from being a long-distance runner, Dick agreed to push Rick in his wheelchair and they finished all 5 miles, coming in next to last. That night, Rick told his father, “Dad, when I’m running, it feels like I’m not handicapped.”
