Dairyland Derby Dash 5K and 10K - Run Walk or Skate

We are so excited to team up with Madison Roller Derby (MRD), Madison Wisconsin’s premier roller derby league, for this amazing awesome race!  You can walk it, you can run it, or you can roller skate it!  Complete your race anytime between August 1st and November 30, 2020!

We will be donating 25% of each registration for this race to Madison Roller Derby, Madison Wisconsin’s premier roller derby league. What began as a throwback to the kitschy older days of derby quickly evolved into the highly athletic, competitive, but still campy and fun sport you see today. Our league is made up of over 100 volunteer skaters, referees, non-skating officials, and support staff who proudly represent mid-western charm and cow spots. In addition to our commitment to building this incredible sport  in Madison and worldwide, and to entertaining and engaging our fans new and old, MRD is about impacting our community through empowerment and sports-person-ship. In 2016 we transitioned  into a non-profit organization to better align with our mission of charitable outreach and community engagement. In 2018 we officially changed our name to Madison Roller Derby as part of a move to more fully support our league expansion to include a wider and more diverse membership. As we continue to grow, we look to expand our efforts by acquiring our own venue and continuing our efforts to spread the positive impact of roller derby.

• Races can be completed anytime between August 1st and November 30, 2020.  National Roller Skating Month is in October, so be sure to lace up your skates and celebrate!
• 5K & 10K virtual races are available — you choose which distance you want to complete
• Great for all ages
• A percentage of race registration fees will be donated to Madison Roller Derby
• You’ll receive a medal upon completion of your event!
• Registration Fee: $22 (includes a medal, bib, and shipping)
• Medals and bibs will begin shipping out July 20th, 2020. After that they will ship out within 2 to 5 days of signing up.
