65 Roses for Cystic Fibrosis 1M 5K 10K 13.1 26.2 Race Description
Every May, the cystic fibrosis community comes together for CF Awareness Month. We are excited to do our part to help create awareness. The “65 Roses” story dates back to 1965 when an observant 4-year-old, hearing the name of his disease for the first time, pronounced cystic fibrosis as "65 Roses." Today, “65 Roses” is a term often used by young children with cystic fibrosis to pronounce the name of their disease. Join our first ever 65 Roses for Cystic Fibrosis 1M 5K 10K 13.1 26.2. Between the medal and the neck ribbon, there are 65 roses.
Also, at least 20% of every registration to The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, their mission is to cure cystic fibrosis and to provide all people with CF the opportunity to lead long, fulfilling lives by funding research and drug development, partnering with the CF community, and advancing high-quality, specialized care.

What: This is a 1M 5K 10K 13.1 or 26.2 virtual race in honor of Cystic Fibrosis Month! You choose which distance you will complete.
When: Complete your race any time in 2021!
*Medals and bibs will start shipping out April 15th. After that they will ship out within 2 to 5 days of signing up.
Where: You choose the course and you time yourself (you’ll report your finishing time to us).
Why: Because this is our way of created awareness for 65 Roses....or Cystic Fibrosis!
Cost: The price is $25 and that includes your medal, bib and shipping. Plus, at least 20% of every entry will be donated to The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. *We are in no way affiliated with this charity, we like to choose a different charity for each of our races and are happy to raise funds for them.
