The Human Kidneys 1M 5K 10K 13.1 26.2

The Human Kidneys are AMAZING. The kidneys are two bean-shaped organs, each about the size of a fist. They are located just below the rib cage, one on each side of your spine. Healthy kidneys filter about a half cup of blood every minute, removing wastes and extra water to make urine. To celebrate this amazing human organ, we are hosting The Human Kidneys 1 Mile, 5K, 10K, 13.1, 26.2.   This is the sixth race in our new THE HUMAN BODY series.

National Kidney Month is in March, so you have from January to March to complete your race. Plus, we’ll be donating at least 20% from every registration to the The American Kidney Fund, who fights kidney disease on all fronts as the nation’s leading kidney nonprofit. AKF works on behalf of the 37 million Americans living with kidney disease, and the millions more at risk, with an unmatched scope of programs that support people wherever they are in their fight against kidney disease—from prevention through post-transplant living.

What: This is a 1 Mile, 5K, 10K, 13.1, 26.2  virtual run (or walk) to celebrate the HUMAN KIDNEYS.  You choose which distance you want to complete.

When: Complete your race any time in January, February or March 2021!

*Medals and bibs will start shipping out by December 15th, 2020! After that medals and bibs will ship out within 2 to 5 days of signing up.

Where:  You choose the course and you time yourself (you’ll report your finishing time to us).

Why:  Because this is our way of celebrating the HUMAN KIDNEYS!

Cost:  The price is $25 and that includes your medal, bib and shipping. Plus, at least 20% of every entry will be donated to  The American Kidney Fund  *We are in no way affiliated with this charity, we like to choose a different charity for each of our races and are happy to raise funds for them.
