KARIN VIRTUAL NCDs MARATHON

This marathon is to raise funds for Non Communicable Diseases (NCDs) such as Diabetes, heart disease, cancers , chronic kidney disease etc. in vulnerable communities in  Northern Uganda. The management of NCDs in the context of COVID-19 infections is challenging. Uganda poses a huge burden and their risk factors which could synergoze with COVID-19 for serious illnesses and outcomes. So, Karin Community Initiative Uganda (KCIU) intends to raise funds and create awareness about NCDs and manage NCD outpatients during this COVID-19 era. All demographics are affected by these diseases and early detection can help prevent death and suffering. We hope to see you all there!
