Cute Goat 5K & 10K Race Description
Who out there can resist a cute goat? We are in LOVE with cute goats and we want to celebrate with our first annual Cute Goat 5K & 10K. Goats are CUTE, but they also can be a HUGE help to a family in need.
Our goal with our Cute Goat race is to raise funds to help buy goats for refugee families. We will be donating at least 15% of every registration to Lifting Hands International: Gather for Goats, which is on a mission to supply goats to refugee families in Jordan that are in most need. How does a goat help a family?
- Critical vitamins and nutrition for the children and elderly
- Milk products such as butter and cheese.
- Sell some of the product for a small source of income.
- Sell, keep, or eat offspring
- Use goat fur to create waterproof, wind-resistant protection from the elements
- Lives 10-12 years
It costs about $300 a goat, and our goal is to be able to pay for at least FOUR goats!
