Canada Day 1M 5K 10K 13.1 26.2 Race Description
Did you know that July 1st is Canada Day? On July 1, 1867, the nation was officially born when the Constitution Act joined three provinces into one country: Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and the Canada province, which then split into Ontario and Quebec. We are excited to celebrate Canada’s birthday with our first ever Canada Day 1 Mile, 5K, 10K, 13.1, 26.2!
Along with celebrating Canada Day, we will also be donating at least 15% of every registration to Special Olympics, an incredible organization who’s mission is to “provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community.” Special Olympics take place everywhere, including Canada!

What: This is a 1 Mile, 5K, 10K, 13.1, 26.2 virtual run (or walk) to celebrate Canada Day! You choose which distance you want to complete!
When: Complete your race any time in July 2020, even better if it’s July 1st!
* Medals and bibs will start shipping out mid-June 2020! After that they will ship out within 2 to 5 days of signing up.
Where: You choose the course and you time yourself (you’ll report your finishing time to us).
Why: Because this is our way of celebrating Canada’s Birthday!
Cost: The price is $22 and that includes your medal, bib and shipping. Plus, at least 15% of every entry will be donated to Special Olympics. *We are in no way affiliated with this charity, we like to choose a different charity for each of our races and are happy to raise funds for them.
